Los Angeles descended into chaos following the Dodgers’ World Series win Tuesday night, as fans looted and vandalized shops - and an 18-wheeler filled with goods - in the city’s downtown area.
Videos on social media show swarms of people surrounding the white tractor-trailer and some climbing inside and throwing boxes of merchandise to the crowd.
Vandals also smashed their way inside a Foot Locker and other stores and spray-painted buildings and at least one police car, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The rowdy celebration included fireworks and smoke bombs and fans jumping on top of cars.
The Los Angeles Police Department declared an unlawful assembly just after midnight and arrested at least eight people, according to CBS Los Angeles
