東京・台場のダイバーシティ東京で今秋から展示予定の「機動戦士ガンダムUC
（ユニコーン）」のユニコーンガンダムの“実物大立像”が建造中だ。17日現在、
ユニコーンモードの一本角や胴体、脚部、バックパックなどが確認できる状態で、
夏休みということもあり、撮影を楽しむ観光客の姿も多く見られた。
関係者によると、予定通り、今秋にお披露目できるように建造が進んでいるとい
い「最終的にどういうものになるかを楽しみにしてください」と話している。
同所では、2012年から実物大ガンダム「RG1／1 RX78-2ガンダム Ver.GFT」を
設置し、多くの来場者を集めたが、今年3月に展示を終えた。ユニコーンガンダム
は、新たな実物大立像として建造されることになった。
