ザ・バーズ（The Byrds）やフライング・ブリトー・ブラザーズ（Flying Burrito Brothers）などでの活躍でも知られるクリス・ヒルマン（Chris Hillman）が12年ぶりのソロ・アルバム『Bidin’ My Time』を海外で9月22日発売。リリース元はRounder Records。

ソロ名義のスタジオアルバムは2005年の『The Other Side』以来。新作のプロデュースはトム・ペティ（Tom Petty）が担当。レコーディングはロサンゼルスにあるトムのスタジオSoCalで行われており、ザ・バーズの仲間デヴィッド・クロスビー（David Crosby）とロジャー・マッギン（Roger McGuinn）のほか、ハーブ・ペダーセン、ジョン・ジョーゲンソン、ジェイ・ディー・マネスらがゲスト・ミュージシャンとして参加しています。

アルバムには、オリジナル楽曲に加え、ザ・バーズ楽曲のリワーク・ヴァージョンも収録される予定です。
