Company Description:
Heptares Therapeutics is an established UK biotech company with world-class technology in structure-based drug design applied to discovery of novel small molecules acting through GPCRs.
The company is developing its own pipeline of proprietary molecules and works in collaboration with major global pharmaceutical companies on both small molecule and antibody discovery programmes.
The most advanced of these are now in clinical studies with others moving towards clinical development.

The size of the company ensures a transparent linkage between all activities from early discovery through to clinical development.
Position:
We are now seeking to recruit two highly motivated part-time receptionists to join the Operations team.
You will be the first point of contact for clients and suppliers when they visit the site, as such, you should be a confident communicator with excellent customer service. The role will include the following duties:
・Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to employees and visitors to the building.
・Take accurate messages, assessing their urgency, and passing on the information appropriately to the relevant member of staff.
・To provide excellent customer service by ensuring that visitor’s first impressions are of a courteous and professional reception team.
・Sort incoming and outgoing mail, including franking and booking couriers.
・Manage Visitor’s Log and record and issue access cards.
・Book meeting rooms and arrange refreshments when requested.
・Arrange taxi transfers for employees and visitors when requested.
・Keep the reception area tidy and undertake any other tasks which contribute to the smooth and efficient organisation of these areas.
・Cover where necessary in the absence of other receptionist on sick or annual leave etc.
・Attend suitable training sessions or courses.
・Undertake general administrative duties.
To undertake any other duties which may reasonably be delegated by the Operations Manager.
Requirements:
It is essential that the successful candidate have:
・Office administration knowledge and experience using a switchboard.
・Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence.
・Clear and legible handwriting.
・Have a friendly, approachable demeanor.
・Ability to record information accurately and correctly.
・Ability to work use your own initiative and as a member of a team.
・Ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines.
・Ability to maintain a positive attitude to work demands.
・Adaptable to change / flexibility.
・Computer literate using Microsoft and Outlook.
Desirable:
・Excellent keyboard skills.
