A pit bull bit a straphanger’s foot during a chaotic subway ride captured on
video and posted on social media.
Riders on the 4 train desperately try to get the dog to let go of the woman’s foot.
“She attacked him first!” the dog’s owner yells as he tries to hold back
the brown pooch on a leash.
“Just get the dog off of her!” another straphanger yells.
After a few seconds, the dog is finally yanked off the woman. But straphangers
continued to yell at the dog’s handler for letting the dog get out of control.
The MTA doesn’t know where and when the incident happened but has flagged
the video for the NYPD.
“Our rules require non-service animals to be kept inside containers and not
disturbing other passengers,” said MTA spokesman Shams Tarek.
“What’s happening in this video is disturbing and a clear violation of our rules.”
