本日のマザーズ先物は、16日の米国株の上伸などを好感して買いが先行して始まると予想される。
ただ、海外政治要因の先行き不透明感などから手掛かり材料に欠けるなか、900pt達成後のマザーズ先物には戻り待ちの売りも次第に出やすくなろう。
一方で、新興市場では、好決算銘柄など個別材料株に対する個人投資家の物色意欲は継続すると予想され、同時に下値の堅さも意識されやすいだろう。

本日のマザーズ指数は4日続伸となった。
前日の英議会におけるメイ内閣不信任案否決によって市場がいったん落ち着きをみせるなか、投資家心理も幾分改善し、マザーズ市場には朝方から買いが先行した。
個人投資家のセンチメントに影響しやすく、欧州関連の側面を持つ任天堂が後場にかけて上げ幅を拡大させ、
指数インパクトの大きいメルカリなどに対する物色も手がけやすい地合いになったことから、マザーズ指数は後場一段高になった。
なお、売買代金は概算で1284.43億円。騰落数は、値上がり192銘柄、値下がり71銘柄、変わらず9銘柄となった。

Abstract
Background:
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and heart failure (HF) often coexist.
Moreover, elderly patients suffering from HF have a higher incidence of COPD, which further complicates their clinical condition.
Indacaterol/glycopirronium has shown benefits in the treatment of COPD, with few cardiologic adverse effects. We evaluated the safety and efficacy of this therapy in patients with history of HF.
Methods:
We enrolled 56 patients with a history of HF (New York Heart Association [NYHA] classes II and III) and stable COPD.
We evaluated blood samples, clinical assessment, echocardiograms and basal spirometry at baseline and after 6 months of therapy with indacaterol/glycopirronium.
In addition, the number of re-hospitalizations during the treatment period was evaluated. Results:
The treatment was well tolerated. Brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels were significantly reduced compared with baseline (p < 0.001) after 6 months of treatment,
and a higher percentage of patients improved their clinical status compared with baseline (p < 0.001).
Minor changes were noted in the hemodynamic and metabolic parameters. Significant improvements in the echocardiographic parameters were noted in HF with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) patients.
All respiratory parameters (forced expiratory volume in 1 s [FEV1], FEV1/forced vital capacity [FVC] ratio and COPD Assessment Test [CAT] scores) improved significantly (p < 0.001).
No hospitalizations owing to HF or COPD exacerbation occurred. One patient died of respiratory failure.
Conclusion:
Indacaterol/glycopirronium was well-tolerated and effective in the treatment of COPD in this cohort of patients with a history of HF.
Further studies are needed to clarify whether this compound can have a direct role in improving overall cardiovascular function. Events:

Abstract
RATIONALE:
In the CLAIM study, dual bronchodilation with indacaterol/glycopyrronium (IND/GLY) significantly reduced hyperinflation, which translated into improved cardiac function, measured by left ventricular end-diastolic volume and cardiac output.
Pulmonary microvascular blood flow (PMBF) is reduced in COPD; however, the effect of reduced lung hyperinflation on PMBF remains unknown.
OBJECTIVES:
To determine the effect of lung deflation with IND/GLY on PMBF and regional pulmonary ventilation using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in hyperinflated patients with COPD.
METHODS:
In this double-blind, randomized, two-period crossover study [clinicaltrials.gov/ NCT02442206],
gadolinium-enhanced MRI and phase-resolved functional lung MRI were used to measure PMBF and regional ventilation, respectively, in COPD patients receiving IND/GLY versus placebo. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS:
Sixty-two (62) patients were randomized to receive once-daily IND/GLY (110/50 μg) for 14 days, followed by 14 days of placebo, or vice versa.
Treatment periods were separated by a 14-day washout. Sixty patients were included in the per-protocol analysis.
MRI measurements showed significant improvements in total PMBF (P=0.006) and regional PMBF (P values for individual lobes were between 0.004-0.022) in response to IND/GLY versus placebo.
Regional ventilation was also significantly improved with IND/GLY, as evidenced by a 12.4% increase versus placebo (P=0.011),
a 14.3% relative decrease in ventilation defect percentage (VDP) of non-/hypo-ventilated lung tissue (cut-off was defined as 0.075 regional ventilation, P=0.0002),
and a 15.7% reduction in the coefficient of variation of regional ventilation compared with placebo (P<0.0001).
CONCLUSIONS:
Pharmacological intervention with IND/GLY improves pulmonary microvascular blood flow and regional ventilation in COPD patients with hyperinflation.

StellaPharma, Inc. (Stella) announced today that it has entered into an agreement whereby Stella will acquire the assets of G2B Pharma (G2B) including IP related to a dry powder nasal formulation of epinephrine being developed for anaphylaxis.
Recent U.S. FDA product approvals indicate nasal delivery can be an excellent alternative route for delivery of rescue medications during life threatening patient events.
Raleigh, North Carolina based StellaPharma was founded in 2018 by three pharmaceutical industry executives that are focused on developing therapeutic products that address unmet patient needs.
Nasally delivered dry powder epinephrine, if approved by U.S. FDA, may provide a much needed and much desired alternative to epinephrine auto-injectors.
Stella's executives include Steve Stefano, Executive Chairman, Thomas Parker, SVP Operations and Ted Lanpher, SVP Business Strategy.
Stefano is a former 29-year GSK executive that led GSK's U.S. Payer Markets and Neurohealth Division by growing top-line revenues from $300 million to $2.5 billion.
Parker and Lanpher are experienced industry veterans having developed and commercialized a range of allergy-related pharmaceutical products and services.

US-based StellaPharma has announced that it will acquire G2B Pharma (G2B) and its dry powder nasal formulation of epinephrine for the treatment of anaphylaxis.
According to a 2014 press release, G2B had licensed SNBL’s nasal delivery technology and was co-developing G2B011 epinephrine nasal spray with SNBL.
Neither StellaPharma nor G2B appears to have a website currently.

本日のマザーズ指数は大幅に5日続伸となった。
前日の米国市場で、ムニューシン財務長官が通商交渉において現在実施している対中関税の緩和を提案したことが報じられ、
NYダウが162ドル高と3日続伸となるなか、本日のマザーズ市場にも朝方から買いが先行した。
また、前日に下方修正を発表した日本電産株の下げ渋りやアジア市場の堅調な動きを背景に、売り方の買い戻しが強まる場面もみられた。
後場にかけては、週末を控えた利益確定の動きなどから、高値でのこう着相場になった。なお、売買代金は概算で1374.64億円。
騰落数は、値上がり148銘柄、値下がり120銘柄、変わらず5銘柄となった。

Purpose:
In contrast to randomized controlled trials (RCTs), changes in maintenance pharmacotherapy in clinical practice occur without a washout period.
The Prospective cohort study for the real-life effectiveness evaluation of glycopyrronium
With indacatERol combination in the management of COPD in Canada (POWER) study evaluated the real-life effectiveness of indacaterol/glycopyrronium (IND/GLY) following
a direct switch from a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA, tiotropium) or long-acting β2-agonist (LABA)/inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) maintenance treatment (salmeterol/fluticasone [SFC]).
Methods:
POWER was a single-cohort, prospective, multicenter, interventional study in which patients with moderate-to-severe COPD,
who remained symptomatic on their current treatment of once-daily (od) tiotropium 18 µg or twice-daily (bid) SFC (any dose), were switched to treatment with open-label IND/GLY 110/50 µg od for 16 weeks.
Effectiveness end points were change from baseline in trough FEV1, transition dyspnea index (TDI) total scores, and COPD assessment test (CAT) scores at 16 weeks.
Results:
Trough FEV1 improved by 175 mL at Week 16 in patients who switched to IND/GLY.
The change was 176 mL (95% CI: 135–217) when switched from tiotropium and 172 mL (95% CI: 85–258) when switched from SFC fixed-dose combination (FDC).
At Week 16, significant improvements were observed in the mean TDI total scores (Δ=2.5) and CAT scores (Δ=-6.5) after the switch to IND/GLY treatment (both P<0.0001).
Additionally, IND/GLY was well tolerated in patients with moderate-to-severe COPD, and no safety signal was observed.
Conclusion:
In clinical practice settings, a direct switch from previous treatment with either tiotropium or SFC to IND/GLY was safe
and provided superior clinically significant improvements in lung function and patient-related outcomes in patients with moderate-to-severe COPD.

18日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は5日続伸した。終値は前日比23円81銭（0.71%）高の3368円81銭と昨年12月18日以来およそ1カ月ぶりの高値を回復した。
米中貿易摩擦の緩和期待で米株高となったのを受け、投資家の心理改善を映した買いが優勢となった。好材料を発表した銘柄やバイオ関連など値動きの軽い銘柄に個人投資家の資金が向かった。
バイオ関連株の堅調については「年末年始に海外でバイオ関連のM&A（合併・買収）の発表が相次いだため、関連銘柄に投資家の注目が集まっている面がある」（岡三証券の小川佳紀日本株式戦略グループ長）との声が聞かれた。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で375億円、売買高は8171万株だった。セルシードやラクオリア、マクドナルドが上昇した。半面、ワークマンやメイコー、セリアは下落した。
